Project Objective:
In this exploration of materials, the focus was on the effectiveness of scale and mark-making by enlarging an everyday object. I worked from a photograph and used techniques covered in class to create a large-scale drawing. I find this to be a thoughtful expression of mark-making that utilizes the careful placement of subject matter as it is important to the content of this type of drawing to make it feel bigger than reality.
